🎉 As we got to know this year, InsectSense is one of the TOP12 academic startups in the Netherlands. An important part of this competition is a trip to Seattle and San Francisco to develop ourselves as entrepreneurs and explore new business and funding opportunities.🇺🇸

During this trip as part of the Dutch delegation, our co-founder 🙂🚀 Leon Schipper will speak with U.S. companies, investors and experienced Dutch entrepreneurs who have been able to grow their business in the USA and internationally. Also the delegation will visit the Microsoft Research Lab, University of California, Berkeley, Stanford University and NASA Ames Research Center.

We look forward to connecting with people and companies from California’s food (ingredient) and pharma industry and USA investors investing in (deep-)tech startups.With our biochip technology, we help thousands of researchers in food and pharma with objective measurement of senses like taste and various health effects.

👉 It's a wrap: Academic Startup Competition . Co-founders Aria Samimi and 🙂🚀 Leon Schipper enjoyed the last event with final pitches of all the cohort's participants. It has been a very insightful year full of workshops, pitches, coaching, networking and traveling to Paris & the USA. We have enjoyed the many conversations with the other founders.
